Agnieszka Helena, or Aga for friends, studied philosophy and works as a content analyst for Google. Born in Poland, she has been in Portugal since 2019. At 30 years old, Aga only began her journey in triathlon in 2022, after becoming unemployed and finally deciding to pursue her dream.

“I started doing triathlon because I thought I would never be able to do it in my life. I always shivered at the sight of triathletes running but was too afraid to even dream of it.”

Then in 2023, Aga crossed the finish line of her first Ironman 70.3, as the first athlete representing Portugal in the 30-34 age group. It’s impressive her evolution for someone who never practiced sports in adolescence, was afraid to ride a bike, and started swimming from scratch.
