Tuxa Negri
Triathlon / Trail Running

Tuxa is 33 years old, mother of a 4-year-old boy, and divides her time between caring for Noa, training for triathlon and trail running, an average of 20 hours a week, and her work as a coach at tritrailendurance.pt.

She combines all her activities with daily organization and focusing on one task at a time. Staying healthy physically, emotionally and psychologically is what makes her train consistently, even when she doesn’t feel like it.

Nine years ago, Tuxa opted for a vegan diet because she didn’t want to eat or use anything that was cruel to animals. It seems like a challenge for any endurance athlete, but with dedication and care she manages to remain at a competitive level and sends out a strong message.

Her favorite quote is

“The best pace is a suicide pace, and today looks like a good day to die.”
